Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers spacious rooms that may need some redecorating but come with essential amenities like coffee, tea, and biscuits replenished daily. The service was top-notch, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, though a refund request was reluctantly met. The location is suitable for those using Southend airport but traffic may be an issue for beachfront visits. The dining options are satisfactory with room for improvement. Outside of the hotel may need better maintenance.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and good value for money, but I was disappointed to find mine in the outside building, so far from the entrance. The service was top-notch and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was convenient for my visit, but the outside of the building was not well-maintained. Dining was value for money and the meal was delicious and hot, but the atmosphere could be improved. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel was perfect for my stay. The family room we booked was large and spacious, though it wasn't completely clean when we checked in. The service provided by the staff was exceptional; they were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The location was decent for our needs, very close to Southend airport, but a bit run down and in need of some TLC. The dining experience was nice, but having a cooked option would have been better. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with friendly staff, great for airport proximity but needing some improvements.
